Here you will see an area on both sides of the road wherein you can unload any trailered rigs
Many trails in this area are not marked! You will have to know where you are going!
After the unloading area, continue west on Deadman Creek Road approximately one

The Twin Sisters trail # 109 departs the quarry from the
north side of the quarry. Don't worry, this one is easy to find - there are two
trails into the quarry - the one you just arrived on and # 109. Trail # 109 is easy to find - it departs
very steeply with two turns whereas the road you drove into the quarry is
almost flat!

Difficulty rating of the trail(s):
On a scale of 1 to 5, probably a 2-1/2 to 3.
There are a couple of places that would probably be a 3-1/2 due to sharp turns and somewhat steep grade!
If it has recently rained, this rating would be closer to 3-1/2 to 4!
Several portions of these trails would be impassible or require a lot of winching!

Reviews of trail:
August 2006:
It was dusty & narrow and very mean NARROW. It felt like the trail had not been run by trucks or jeeps in
several months. There were a lot of ATV & bike tracks, though. The view from the top of Twin Sisters is
impressive.
The rock quarry was fun, with opportunity to test your rock skills.
The access to the trail is a long (∼7 miles) road and it's easy to get lost!
I think it will make a good run, but keep in mind that it is not as challenging as many other trails. A good
run for those new to the sport or new to eastern WA, with some great views of northern WA.
Any Applicable Fees and Restrictions:
None.
Some of the roads in the Colville National Forest have seasonal restrictions. These restrictions are the result
of the US Forest Service's implementation of their Travel Management Plan.
